Beyrouth, pensées et détails fragmentés (English title: Beirut, fragmented thoughts and details) is a fanzine about Beirut. This book is a tribute to a city that never ceases to fascinate me. The starting point was the street: I wandered the streets of Beirut, writing thoughts, and collecting pieces of posters, photographs, and fabric from the walls. The collected pieces naturally led me towards the collage technique. I created compositions that portray the atmosphere and character of this city: an immutable chaos made out of contrasts, of layers of beauty and ugliness, of hidden details, of fragmented stories.
