Maher Mekhael

Maher Mekhael has been producing music and performing on stage for nearly 20 years. He also works as a composer and music producer for films from his studio in France. Through his explorations and compositions, Maher Mekhael created his electronic, industrial and nebulous universe, with hints of metallic sounds and complex beats.
His first solo EP, Cherbourg, was composed between Cherbourg and Lebanon, during a transitional phase, and therefore reflects the layering of different states, feelings, textures, in a harmonious mix of analog and digital sounds. The chosen visual approach reflects this idea of layering, and aims to create a visual identity that seamlessly overlaps natural elements and the city, as this was the inspiration behind the music.
